The Production Managers role is to manage and supervise the production team to ensure that daily production goals are met. The production manager must provide training to shift leaders and associates with a focus on running the day-to-day production operations on the floor. The manager must also adhere to manufacturing and labor schedules to successfully meet customer orders on time-on.

  • Lead and manage production and employees effectively
  • Great communication skills
  • Assures standard operating procedures in the SQF food safety system and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements are followed
  • Submit daily, weekly productions reports on timely basis
  • Helps develop and meet plant safety goals. Participates in safety/environmental self-audits & visual checks, and champions all safety activities.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and with cross functional departments to ensure a successful process
  • Assures daily production schedules are met and all issues are communicated timely
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines
